ESSEEDS in the media: ABC Sevilla

On 27 September, journalist Natalia Ortiz (@NatOrtizB) wrote an article for Agrónoma, the agronomy section of ABC Seville’s online edition, about the tropical forages that are facing the drought in Andalusia.

This article covers the International Congress of researchers from the Department of Crops for Nutrition and Health and the Tropical Forages Programme held in Seville. Michel Peter (Director of the Tropical Agriculture Centre) and David Martin (CEO of ESSEEDS) discuss the advantages of new generation crops.

David Martín highlights Crescent Sunn, seed marketed by Esseeds, the only Crotalaria Juncea approved by the University of Florida (USA) as a crop with dual suitability: Use as green manure and use as a fodder crop.

We welcome the fact that the media gives visibility to the work of individuals, universities and private companies who put all their efforts into researching new crops for the benefit of our local farmers.
