Cobra Grass

Cobra is one of the crops developed by the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) based in Colombia. Cobra is the result of cross-breeding by open pollination of different types of Brachiarias.

It is characterized by its growth in erect strains facilitating the cut maintaining, in addition its erect growth offers us a rapid establishment, obtaining the first cut 45 days after planting. It is ideal as cutting grass and for hay and silage production. It responds very well to fertilization in intensive systems.

COBRA® grass is the best alternative to achieve a high production of green matter and dry matter in intensive grass cutting systems both to provide fresh grass to livestock or to make hay and silage. Its result in goats and sheep stands out.
