Cobra is one of the crops developed by the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) based in Colombia. Cobra is the result of open-pollinated crossbreeding of different types of Brachiarias.
It is characterized by its growth in erect strains facilitating cutting, in addition its erect growth offers us a rapid establishment, obtaining the first cut 45 days after sowing. It is ideal as a cutting pasture and for hay and silage production. Very good acceptance of fertilization in intensive systems.
COBRA® grass is the best alternative to achieve a high production of green matter and dry matter in intensive grass cutting systems, both to provide fresh grass to cattle or to make hay and silage. Its results in goats and sheep stand out.
